It's finished
Very delayed I know, but our internet has been down for days.
My last weekend showed a marked lack of creativity. I needed to be free of the dress so much so that I don't feel I made the most of those last 2 days the way I could have.
I can't find Sunday's pic but I will post as soon as it's been discovered.

Day TWENTY FIVE

I love this sequined waistcoat by Misfit. I've been dying to wear it but wasn't able to think of a way to do it justice, but now I'm running out of time so I figured I should just go for it and I think it works. Well, I got the thumbs up from our fashion editor this morning so it must have something going for it.
One more weekend and the project will be over. I can't believe it's gone so quickly. I've had my moments, when it's felt like it's gone on forever, but it's been an interesting journey.
Have a great weekend and I'll update on Monday for the last time.

Day TWENTY THREE
Today I'm back in my own clothes... apart from the falke socks. I'm throwing caution to the wind in these last few days. Experimenting with looks I would never normally have the confidence to try. The dress seems to cover a multitude of sins. With that over the top I feel a bit like the experimentation is safer. My bag (pictured) was also made for me by the mama's at Learn to Earn in Khayelitsha (www.learntoearn.org.za) is so great. It's big enough for everything I own, and I can wear it like a satchel, making me feel like a school girl (enhanced by today's ankle socks). It's getting warmer, and I think that's helping me think outside the box a bit more.
Tomorrow is a public holiday so I'll update again on Friday. Happy Heritage Day x

Day TWENTY TWO
As we get closer to the end of this project I feel like letting out my inner wild fashion monkey... it's either that or the fact that spring is actually in the air at last. I could smell it this morning. Fresh and warm, it makes my soul glad.I bought this jumpsuit in France in June. It looked so wonderful, hanging in the middle of a bustling village market that I couldn't resist. I didn't try it on, and as a result it doesn't look quite so great in reality as I imagined in my head, however, I quite like it under the dress.
The shoes are towering Mr Price gladiator heels, I love the electric blue...
